SURF FORECAST (10/14)

Look for both the S-SSW (180-190) and the NW (285-300) to fade slowly on Sunday…most spots will continue to be rideable but size and consistency will be on the way down and even the top spots will drop into more playful sizes. Average spots will slip into the waist-chest high range while the top S facing breaks and excellent combo spots see some waist-shoulder high surf. There may be a chance at a rare bigger set still lurking around out there on the low tides, just don’t count on them to consistently show up. Winds/Weather: The cooler weather holds into Sunday but the trough of upper level pressure starts to drift off to the North…letting high-pressure start to resettle over the area, clearing out the skies by the afternoon and continue to warm up temps as we head into Monday. Look for mostly light and variable winds below 5 knots for the morning with a few pockets of texture at the more exposed spots.
